Leicestershire County Council is offering free child entry to Snibston Discovery Park this summer, for people travelling by bus to the attraction.
Residents with a copy of the councils Attractions by Bus guide can use the voucher inside to claim free child entry with a valid bus ticket*.
A copy of the Attractions by Bus guide can be downloaded from the Fun by Bus website: www.leics.gov.uk/fun_by_bus.
Alternatively, call the Fun by Bus Crew on 0116 305 8777 or email: passengertransport@leics.gov.uk.
The Fun by Bus Crew, along with local radio station Heart 106, will be at Snibston on Wednesday, 29th July and again with the Leicester Sound Thunders Crew on Thursday, 30th July.
Amongst other activities, they will be giving away free goodie bags containing pens, crayons, stickers, activity sheets and bike reflectors.
Lesley Pendleton, Leicestershire County Council Cabinet Lead Member for transportation, said: Travelling by bus is a fun way to travel. There are several buses that run right by Snibston, so it is very convenient to get there by bus.
Arriva buses 9 and 9A run directly past Snibston, en route between Coalville and Burton on Trent.
In addition, the Airlink 155 service runs hourly from Memorial Square, Coalville to East Midlands Airport via Snibston, Linford Crescent and Pegasus Business Park. People using this service can travel for only 50p using the voucher in the Attractions by Bus guide.#
Visit www.travelineeastmidlands.co.uk or call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 for assistance in travel planning. The number is available seven days a week between 7am and 9pm.
