Officers have charged a man following an appeal made on Leicestershire Constabularys website to trace the owners of some tools recovered from the Coalville area.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with theft, burglary dwelling, shoplifting, criminal damage and common assault.

He is due to appear before Coalville Magistrates Court on Thursday June 16.

Police made an appeal to trace the owners of some property which was recovered after a warrant was executed at an address in the Coalville area on Friday April 8.
