Blasts from the past at Snibston's Retro Gaming Weekend

Gaming fans are in for a real treat this month with a fantastic opportunity to discover and play on computers and consoles from the last 35 years!

Snibston Discovery Museum in Coalville is hosting a special Retro Gaming Weekend on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November. Computer enthusiasts will be able to reminisce about old time games and play on the likes of Acorn, Amstrad, Atari, Commodore, Nintendo, Sega, Sinclair and many more.

The weekends activities have been organised in partnership with the Retro Computer Museum based in Leicestershire and provides a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy some of the very earliest gaming technology all within the surroundings of Snibston Discovery Museum the largest science and technology museum in the region.

With lots to discover, inside and out, Snibston inspires visitors of all ages in their quest to understand more about the amazing world in which we live. Families, groups and individuals will find plenty to see and do with lots of interactive and moving exhibits and fascinating displays about fashion, design, technology, science and industry.
